My name is Fay and I have been studying and working with astrology for around 30 years now. I am also very interested in politics and history, so I thought it a great idea to combine the three subjects – the result being this blog. I was particularly inspired by the timing of Pluto moving into Capricorn coinciding with the banking crash of 2008 and since then have thought astrology a great way of understanding the world and what is happening.

I am always amazed and delighted with how the news reflects current transits and just now (January 2018) as I am continuing work on my interpretation of Uranus moving into Taurus, lo and behold, Carillion, a giant UK construction company (Taurus) has gone bust! (Uranus)  Its collapse means disruption and uncertainty (Uranus) to major government building and maintenance projects, putting at risk thousands of workers’ jobs and thousands of other smaller businesses and sub-contractors dependent upon it (Taurus), as well as the public services affected and adding a further burden to taxpayers (Capricorn). Yet again bringing to light the rottenness (Jupiter in Scorpio) at the top levels of society and bringing the not-fit-for-purpose government into disrepute as well as showing the greedy, irresponsible and inept bosses for what they are. (Pluto in Capricorn and Saturn in Capricorn).

I live in Britain and realise my writings of the manifestations of the planets positions can be somewhat Britain-centric but would love to hear of any happenings in other parts of the world that reflect the energies of the transits.

For anyone interested in my motives or bias, my Sun is in Sagittarius square Pluto in Virgo, Moon in Aquarius square Neptune in Scorpio, Mars conjunct the Ascendant in Scorpio square Uranus in Leo, Mercury conjunct Saturn in Sagittarius, Venus in Capricorn square Jupiter in Libra, Pluto conjunct MC in Virgo, Chiron in Aquarius and North Node in Scorpio.
